Jupiter rules Sagittarius and enters its own sign on November 8th, coincidentally on one of the four high days in the Buddhist/Taoist calendar and the day after the New Moon in Scorpio. This series of aspects is not necessarily a get out of jail free card but it is a turning point for all those who are tired, worn down and at wit’s end.
The aftermath of the Pittsburgh shooting added to the everyday extremes of good versus evil, makes for a group mind that is hopeless, desolate and near breaking. There’s only so much bad news a person can take. But here comes Jupiter, who could possibly bring some rays of positivity, hope and the sun shining again.
Jupiter is not a fix-all, but it can fix a lot. The expansive nature of Jupiter, especially in Sagittarius, brings help with the group zeitgeist, education, the Courts, religions, tolerance, benefit through foreigners, and prosperity. It can bring back humor and a spirit of positivity. It supports a can-do attitude.
All you Sagittarians and anyone who has a planet in Sagittarius (or wherever you have Sagittarius in your chart) can get a blessing and possibly an advantage. The strength of Jupiter can move mountains. And it just might be able to move the seemingly immovable mountain in our political system.
The New Moon on November 7th at 15 degrees of Scorpio (and the day after Uranus retro back into Aries) brings a new opportunity. Ruled by Pluto, this New Moon continues to have a Saturn influence so the rebuilding part is a real beginning. What started in 2008, with the financial collapse that eerily produced the Trumpian turn, can now possibly be turned back. The restructuring that Saturn is known for involves literally rebuilding the bones of the foundation. You have to build back up what has broken, and make it stronger. For anyone who has broken or fractured a bone, you know that you need to relearn how to adapt to what is broken and rebuild/recover to become that much stronger. This is what’s ahead for us as a group.
The New Moon linked to Jupiter, moving into Sagittarius, says the option is open. The North Node, which rules the future (manifested by the present), moves into Cancer for the next 18 months. Approximately at the same time as the New Moon, this influence carries the themes of home, homeland security, what is safe, what is nurturing that grows, Mother, and the emotional needs. The North Node, opposed by Capricorn, in this case represented by the state, the dictator or Strong Man (unmasked Wizard of Oz), what is sparse and weak, or what is lame and whose power is based upon fear.
The Elections will have another questionable result. What is tampered with and what is the true result? Confusion could produce another dilemma. During the dark of the Moon it is probable that there will be uncertainty and discord. Not a clear shot for either side — and hopefully not a “Strong Man” stepping in to declare the winners/result or some kind of wonky proclamation “for the safety and good of the country.”
The planets have a life of their own in tandem and proportionate to “as above so below, as below so above.” The shift of Jupiter to Sagittarius should bring a turn to the big cliffhanger of Scorpio. Some deus ex machina finally arrives a bit late. It might take time to unfold but it will come in the form of a truly strong man or woman or strong set of beliefs that could overturn and undo what’s been done so badly.
Rome fell because of excess and political corruption. In history when a despot overcomes a benign ruler chaos results. Uranus goes back into Aries and aspects Venus. What predominates politically is turned upside down and could bring a reaction of more upheaval and revolt. The Rightist extremes might polarize with not-so-random acts of violence to create distraction and provide a cause for military intervention.
Jupiter is wisdom. The themes of history repeat and reveal. Mr. President Trump is a Gemini with a Sagittarian Moon. Some could say he is a stabile genius who makes the country money. If money falls, what does the genius do to keep the stability? If the Other Leo comes knocking with an inquiry to Mr. Trump after November 8th, what happens next?
For your personal chart, examine whether your present relationship is triangulating with a third partner or a third component. Any relationship that is teetering might shake. Sex, love or money (and of course power) will be the issue. Venus going direct on November 16 brings back the reality of who you’re really with and what is the reality of your connection?

November 15 sees Mars enter Pisces. The deviance of Mars in Aquarius on and off since May 15 has produced a back and forth, one way or another, unpredictable and chaotic atmosphere. The ending of Uranus in Aries portends the end of a 7-year siege of fighting, violence and rage.
Approximately around March 6, 2019, the end of this unpleasant and pugilistic period rests. After January 6th, a clearer understanding of the meaning of the wild card in your life over the last 7 years brings insight, release and the strength to adapt.
